Bonded warehouse
Bonded storage refers to the storage of bonded goods using bonded warehouses approved by the Customs. Bonded goods are mainly goods that need to be transported out of the country after temporarily entering the country, or import goods that have been approved by the Customs to suspend duty payment.
Bonded warehousing is under the direct supervision of the Customs. Although the goods are also entrusted by the depositor, the custodian is responsible to the Customs, and the warehousing or outbound documents need to be signed by the Customs. Bonded warehousing is generally conducted near the port of entry and exit.
